Hotel Amenities Collection

If you are considering cleaning out your closet or pantry you are in LUCK! We will be collecting items for distribution to many of the organizations supported by St. John’s on Saturday 2/28/2026 from noon to 1:15pm. Our main focus for this February collection is SOCKS AND WARM CLOTHES. Many of our neighbors spend virtually all their time outside. Having warm clothes (especially warm dry SOCKS) and blankets can make all that time in the cold bearable. Your clean gently used clothing and socks, in good condition, are welcome. New items will also be gladly accepted and distributed. All types of clean, gently used clothing, shelf stable food, sleeping bags and of course hotel amenities are in demand. If you cannot come by during our collection time, items may be left in the barrel located in the entryway at the front of the church. To drop off items on 2/28 enter the driveway next to the church from Myrtle exit via Fairview. All items collected will be distributed locally through St. John’s streetside ministries, the Day Center, Family Promise, or The River. Thank you for helping your neighbors!
